Early Spring

School work still continues

Our church had a fine and practical arts fair in which Lydia and Andrew performed.

Easter Sunday family picture

We did some traveling to visit some relatives. While we were visiting we went into this quaint salvage shop.

*Can you guess what these rings were made of?

With all the rain we have gotten recently, the grass is just shooting up... which means it's time to mow the lawn. (Need your grass mowed?? Hire this lawn service!)

We're still here...

...and just incase you don't believe me, here are some pictures of some of the things we've been up to.

Bethany doing some photography

This was taken a few weeks ago when the gas got a little cheaper.

Someone had fun making Tessy look like a skunk one day!

Making some fun fall decorations

Some also found it fun to draw on the carpet before we tore it up.

Alyssa and I trying out our Norwex products to see if it really would take it up. We got it up most of the way and if we had done it again, I think it would have taken it up all the way (mind you this was permanent marker).

Lydia and Andrew working on putting in the new flooring

Almost finished...

 ...and done!

We also had some relatives visit!

St. Louis

It was our family "vacation" last week. But instead of going somewhere we decided we would stay home and work on getting the garage fixed up. So we put shelves in, painted, organized, and threw away a lot of junk that had collected over the years. For the last day we had a fun day where we went down to St. Louis. We went to the St. Louis Science Center to tour around there and watch a film on Air Racers in the omnimax theater. After the museum we went over to the zoo for the afternoon.
Looking around

Matthew standing over the interstate.

They had flight simulators, so Andrew decided to do it.

He didn't quite do a barrel, but he did go upside-down.

These monkeys were fun to watch. One of them side-skipped in a circle for us!

Must be pretty boring for the Lions...

It was fun watching the hippos swimming around.

While we were watching the elephants, a zoo worker was making it do different tricks. Here it is going to do its bow.

The photographer

The arch... no, we didn't go in it. It's just a picture from the highway!

Going home in traffic.
