Miniture Golf

A fun evening of miniature golf!

Getting ready to play. We had 2 teams since there are 8 of us.

Andrew

I think this was the time it took me 6 to get it in the hole.

Lydia making sure everything's lines up before she putts...

...and there it goes!

Matt ready for his turn

Some of us had to use these ;-)

On this particular hole, I think Andrew was the only one that actually got it over the stream... the rest got it in the stream.

Mom,
Lydia,
 and Alyssa all happily playing.

Dad must have gotten a good score on this one!

Bethany playing leisurely.

Counting up the scores. Dad won out of everybody and Bethany came in 8th!

We planted a whole bunch of sweet corn in early spring, so it was ready the end of June. We were pretty much the first of the season and were selling it at 3 different locations. By the end of the day, we had sold over 5,000 cobs of corn!

Staying at some friends' house when we were traveling for another friend's wedding.

Playing games. BTW Whoonu and iMAgiNiff are a fun way to get to know people better ;-)

Summer Part 1 - Missions Trip

This summer has been pretty busy for our family. Here are a few shots that show some of the things that have kept us busy.

In June, my dad, Matthew, Andrew and I had the opportunity to go on a missions trip with our church. It was a wonderful time getting to evangelize and work with a lot of kids, meeting other fellow believers and seeing the work God is doing through them, and getting to know the other team members better!
Matthew teaching during the lesson time.

 During the music time.

 Dad reading to the kids.

Several of the girl loved playing with my hair.

Playing 'volleyball' with a few of the kids. Since they were just learning, the main goal was just to get the ball over the net however that may be. :-) But by the end they were really catching on!

Some of us girls relaxing one afternoon after working with the kids all day.

Some of the nights, we pulled out some games... This particular night we had 12 people playing spoons! It was a fun intense game!

Sunday morning, Matthew & I coincidentally color coordinated.
