May

Some of the happenings of May.
Andrew and Matthew ran a 10K.
Coming up to the finish line...

On a hot day, a water fight isn't a bad way to cool off.

Farm Update

Our 'farm' now consists of 2 steers, a hive of bees, and 1 dog.

Lydia recently got her bees she has patiently been waiting for. (They couldn't come until it had warmed up a bit)

Tessy is doing well...
...and has found that dandelions actually taste pretty good... at least when someone it tossing them to you...

Early Spring

School work still continues

Our church had a fine and practical arts fair in which Lydia and Andrew performed.

We did some traveling to visit some relatives. While we were visiting we went into this quaint salvage shop.

With all the rain we have gotten recently, the grass is just shooting up... which means it's time to mow the lawn. (Need your grass mowed?? Hire this lawn service!)

Update

Here are a few pictures from over the past few months since the last update.

Christmas decorating with Andrew

Not to long after we brought the calves home, they got sick (one at a time). With the bitter cold weather we were having then (and still are having) we brought them into the mudroom until we could take them to the vet. Thankfully they both got better pretty quickly and are doing fine now.

Snow... We have gotten quite a bit this year!
